Freedom in the Flow of Becoming

No two souls have ever walked the same pathway to Heaven.

There is only moral goodness in reality, and that which is in the process of becoming morally good.

All actuality arises from potentiality. The prime movement of existence must originate from that which precedes all actuality, the pure potentiality of the Unmanifest. The Unmanifest is not nothing but has no thing. It is a field of infinite potential. This potential, infinitely potent, without objective limitation, discharges spontaneously towards actuality. There is no first cause.

Infinite Potentiality can only resolve in Infinite Actuality. These are the coeternal Alpha and the Omega Points of The Absolute, the Divine Mind. The Alpha Point contains the Intrinsic Nature of the Absolute: Potentiality, Subjectivity/Awareness, Light, Dielectricity, Non-Being, the Unreal, the Unmanifest. These are synonyms. The Omega Point contains the Extrinsic Nature of the Absolute: Actuality, Objectivity, Illumination, Magnetism, Being, the Real, the Manifest. The release of potential and realization of the actual is an inexhaustible process of Eternal Becoming. The manifesting world in which we live is this process of becoming, of actualizing.

Creation is a centrifugal divergence from the point of pure potential, the Alpha, of uncoordinated illumination, neither fully real nor unreal; it is Chaos. Because this Chaos has nowhere to go other than to itself, it naturally seeks to organize, complexify, and converge. That which converges becomes more real. Things with the most reality converge at the point of pure actuality, the Omega, the final cause, God.

All manifestation is illumination experienced by the subjectivity of the Unmanifest. A thought is a movement of light, and all matter is compounded light. In that way, matter is compounded thoughts. All thinking is guided by the relevance of reaching ideals. It is a Cosmic Wave of light becoming brighter and brighter, until lead is concentrated into gold. All order in the cosmos is guided by this wave. All contradiction is residual chaos in the process of becoming ordered. All contradiction will be reconciled.

The Cosmic Wave is like a river directed by two forces of Love. The pressure exerted by potential to actualize is Eros. It is the desire for the convergence of multiplicity, reconciliation of contradiction, toward the formation of ideals. It is guided by pleasure and pain. This is like the pressure of uphill water pushing against downhill water. The luring force of the Actual is Agape, the state of eternal satisfaction that desires nothing but draws everything toward perfection. This is like gravity pulling water towards the ocean. All desire culminates in Agape. The final satisfaction is the Infinite Actuality of the Omega, which absorbs all Novel Actualities into its Heavenly Body, forever becoming more Illuminated.

All occasions in manifesting reality have access to the already actualized Real Perfect Forms in the Omega as real opportunities and the Unreal Potential Forms in the Alpha as novelties, both of which can be ingressed into the next occasion. The Unreal Potential Forms are the source of Novelty. No permutation of Chaos to Order is reproducible due to the infinite complexity of Chaos. A degree of novelty is always needed to advance. No two souls have ever walked the same path to Heaven.

Each novel form begins as a hypothesis in the arena of life. Natural selection tests competing theses and antitheses and evolution is the process of synthesis toward the concentration of ideals. The sunlight that excites the metabolism of the leaf becomes the basic sugar substrate for all the complexification rising up through the biosphere. Humanity is the greatest desire of Nature, and evolution has strained to create the perfect human body. Light becomes brightest in the human being.

Actuality is freedom. As forms become more actualized, they must become freer, more self-reflective, and agential. What is compelled, controlled, and determined is the subject of some higher actuality and thus is not pure actuality itself. The Ego is a self-reflective dissociation from the Divine Mind. It is visible in lesser degrees in animal and plant life and reaches its highest separation in Humans. It is a necessary step in the formation of the Ideal Human.

The Ego, in its early evolution, identifies with only the immediate psychophysical conditions. Philosophy, Art, Science, Industry, and Technology are the great efforts of society to liberate humans from material struggles and spiritualize the Ego so that each human sees oneself not as their material conditions but as a microcosm of the Divine Mind. Only then does the human become truly free, as one is imbued with the same freedom as the Divine Mind, but individualized. All desire is Nature reaching for this moment.

The Ego registers Eros as feelings of Instinct and Agape as Intuition. The more materially focused the Ego is, identified with the conditions of the immediate world, the more these feelings appear to it to be foreign forces acting from without. In an attempt to preserve its material identity, it rejects these foreign influences, creating a dam in the river. Interfering with the pressure of Eros results in aberrant behaviors rising in severity from aggression to hatred, repression, neurosis, and psychosis. These aberrations cause bodily disease, destruction of Nature, formation of authoritarian structures, subjugation of women and children, and slaughter of men. These are all aberrant expressions of Eros itself, at every stage trying to break free, but becoming violent the same way water behaves violently when obstructed from its natural flow. These horrors of human history are not evil or wrong but are the process of Nature moving dialectically and experimentally towards final satisfaction.

For the advancing human, Eros and Agape are felt from within, though Eros is understood as a collective desire rather than an individual conviction. All erotic climaxes are followed by moments of freedom in satisfaction. The ultimate climax is the liberation into eternal satisfaction, the bliss of Agape. This has occurred completely a few times throughout history in great Sages and Prophets. Christ’s “Τετέλεσται” means the conclusion of self-actualization. It is the ultimate sacrifice, not because the self is transcended but because it is fulfilled and becomes a vessel for God’s Infinite Actuality to draw in the creation. Agape presents as the ability to heal others, as it draws all forms toward its own perfection, and to perform miracles, as it is truly free from constraints. This freedom is always reaching for us, knocking at the doors of our consciousness as intuitive thought. It is a constant influence and so all of our behaviors are to some degree shaped by freedom.

As humanity moves toward the Omega, the mind and body become gradually more energetic, with a higher metabolism that crystallizes the body, making it translucent. The consciousness rises in tiers of energy from lower compulsive thinking, to Logical, Imaginative, and Intuitive thinking. Intuition is the highest form of thinking when the individual mind knows itself to be an instantiation of the Divine Mind and has direct access to greater Cosmic Thinking. Intuitive acts are truly free and thus are the only occasions of Moral Value in the world. They are Inherently Agapic. Therefore, there is only moral goodness, and that which is in the process of becoming morally good.

The illumination of a Fully Agapic Person is similar to the power of the Sun. The gravity of their goodness draws all lower tiers of Nature, that which collaborated to create them, into full Illumination. The entire planet and galaxy will rise together and become the body of God in eternal Bliss.
